The Energy of the Libra New Moon
This New Moon in Libra at 28° offers us a blank canvas…. an invitation to live a life that feels worthy, valuable, and beautiful. A life that makes us fall in love all over again. Libra finds beauty in every nook and cranny, reminding us that what is beautiful will always be defined by the eyes of the beholder. This lunation asks us to seek that beauty in all areas of life, to create and magnetise a reality that feels aligned and makes us feel all gooey inside. Some ponders to consider is: where are we not going after something because we don’t feel brave enough? What relationships are we holding back on, in fear of our true self being rejected? Are we living from a place of self-love or over-compromise? With Chiron opposing this New Moon, these themes may rise to the surface. It’s an opportunity to re-write our love story…. one where we no longer lose ourselves to belong.
Jupiter forms a T-square with the Sun and Moon’s opposition to Chiron, and with it comes the potential to expand. Jupiter wants to believe, to grow, to overflow with optimism and abundance, but this New Moon may also magnify the stories we tell ourselves (especially ones related to love and worth). How can we fully expand in love and life when the wound of “not enough” still lingers in our body? This aspect may bring up old beliefs…those inherited, taught, or absorbed from generations before us. Perhaps they were never really ours to carry. This New Moon reminds us that we don’t need to keep identifying with the old pain, the stories that say we are unworthy of love or true connection. We can thank them for what they’ve taught us and rewrite a new chapter that is written through the lens of OUR truth and possibility.
With Mars and Mercury in Scorpio in a tight conjunction, there’s a strong pull to speak our truth ...the deep, unfiltered part that’s ready to be heard. This energy may be showing up in our relationships, asking for raw honesty. Scorpio doesn’t do surface level as it wants to dig deep into what’s real. There’s a fierce and fiery element here, and it’s asking us to use it. If fears are rising to the surface this New Moon, they are the ones that are probably ready to be transformed and perhaps our voice is the tool that sets them free. No holding back this New Moon as there’s a conversation brewing in the depths. Bring ritual and pleasure back into the small moments like the beach walks that calm your soul, the solo coffee dates, the people who feel like home. Treat yourself as something sacred (because you are), and everything around you will reflect that truth back like a mirror. It all starts with YOU.
